Settling down

Lisa unpacked some of her necessities as she was told to but kept most of her stuff in her bag because she's still considering if she should just go stay in a hotel.

Hotels are kind of expensive and motels are a little too dodgy. No way Kai would have allowed her to leave of she were to check in into a motel.

As Lisa felt traumatized by what had happened, she was not in the mood to head out to eat. She just sat at the sofa hugging a pillow looking like a lost puppy.

So Kai called their helper to prepare dinner for them to be sent up to his floor.

"Go take a bath, maybe you will feel better after that." Kai said.

Without uttering a word, Lisa went to the room.

She filled the tub with warm water, sprinkled the tub with some soap and bath salts and slipped into the tub.

The warm water sooth her muscles that were all tensed up.

She wasnt able to think properly until now. The optimal solution is to rush the renovation process and stay here for the time being.

Kai is not that bad after all right??

After 20 minutes or so, Lisa got off and changed into something more comfortable.

When she went out to the living room, dinner was already served and Kai was setting the table.

"Are you feeling better now?" Kai asked.

"Yeah."

" Come sit down and have dinner."

Lisa sat down and proceeded eating her dinner. After finish eating , Lisa wanted to go wash the dishes but Kai stopped her, saying that the helper will do it.

Lisa insisted on her point and before she could walk into the kitchen, Kai swept her up and place her on the sofa.

"You can do it next time but today I just want you to rest."

"Anyway my house uses a dishwasher so it will be better to wash it full load." Kai joked.

Lisa smiled.

Kai went to wash up while Lisa stayed in the living room to watch TV. She was watching some comedy that made her laughed out loud which lifted up her mood a lot.

Kai came out and sat beside Lisa. He held her hands and played with her fingers while she enjoyed her show.

"So, you're staying right?" Kai asked.

"Yeap. Because my card can't afford me hotel.." Lisa replied sheepishly

"OH YA I NEED TO CONTACT THE REPAIR COMPANY AND ASK THEM TO RUSH FOR ME!" Lisa exclaimed.

"I've already done it for you, don't need to worry." Kai replied.

"Really?? Thanks!" Lisa replied while scrunching her nose.

When the show ended, Lisa felt sleepy so she headed to the bedroom.

She sat at the corner of the bed wondering if she should be sleeping here.

Suddenly a pair of hands were on her shoulder.

Kai massaged her shoulders and neck because she looked so tensed up the whole day.

"Okay,okay you can stop now. Your hands will get tired too. Let's sleep." Lisa said.

Lisa was still feeling uncomfortable so she slept at the edge of the bed. However, it only took her a few minutes to fall asleep. And the next moment Lisa turned around and wiggled into Kai's arms.

"Why do you look extra loveable today?" Kai whispered.

He kissed her on the forehead and hugged her to sleep.
