Sparks fly?

  For the next few "dates" they took turn to plan and they all revolves around eating because they got nothing else to do. Wondering what's going on inside their heads because meaningless dates sound pretty torturous.

  One day, Lisa received a text from Kai. The usual routine was to just reply OK because it will be about the dining location. But this time, the message is a little different. IT'S ACTUALLY A QUESTION.

-Do you want to watch a movie this weekend?-

Lisa was shook. She didn't know to respond because this had never happened. After a couple of minutes, Lisa finally lifted her thumb.

- okay, do you have any movies in mind?-

- Rogue one?-

-Not sure what is it about but it's fine with me !-

-ok-
- Sunday, 3pm IECinema-

Lisa felt like she was talking to another person but she felt very heartened at the same time? He's no longer behaving like an iceberg. He's more like the waters in the artic now? Still cold, but less cold.

Sunday came and they met at the stated timing. Lisa was silently hoping to eat with him before the movie but dismissed the idea as she thought she was being too greedy.

During the movies, they just sat at their seats and watched the movie. That's just for Kai actually, Lisa was busy munching on popcorn because the movie is not really her thing. After the movie, they went home separately. The interaction between them remained status quo, with Kai being cold as usual.

A couple of dates later, Kai suggested to watch movie again. He wanted to watch a horror movie. He don't usually watch horror movies but somehow he wants to watch it with Lisa. Despite being a scaredy cat, Lisa agreed to watching the movie because they are not close enough for her to say no to him.

THE MOVIE WAS HELL SCARY.  The plot was so intense so Lisa could not keep her eyes of the screen. At the same time, she lose her soul everytime there's a jump scare. She crouched close to Kai, trying to avoid the deadly gaze of the ghost. She was too scared to realise that she was grabbing Kai's arm and burying her head in his arms. She also too petrified to notice that Kai didn't move his arms away.

Meanwhile, Kai wanted to concentrate on the movie but he couldn't. He was too busy. He's feeling a million current flowing through his body while trying to keep his poker face. Is it because she's grabbing onto him? Or is it just this movie sending chills down his spine? He got no idea why he's feeling this way.

After the movie, Lisa was looking tired from all the screaming so Kai offer send her home. As she was completely drained, she agreed. She got no more energy left to bother about the awkward atmosphere in the car.

On the car, Lisa kept looking out of the window to avoid having eye contact with Kai.
However, Kai tried to strike a conversation with Lisa as he felt guilty for turning her into such state.

"Seems like horror movies are your nemesis"

"Yeah, I avoid them to the best of my abilities. Why spend money torturing myself?"

"Then why did you agree to watch?"

"Because we are no close enough to say no. "
Lisa blurted out before she realised she spoke her mind.

"Then we shall not watch it next time then. What kind of movies do you like?"

"Marvel! Other than that I'm not a huge fan of movies. Oh my house is over there! Just turn right."

Kai pulled over and Lisa thanked him and got off.

When Kai drove off, Lisa mumbled,
" Are things going to be better from now on?"

Lisa woke up with a little headache and found herself in his arms again. She had a vague memory of last night but she's relieved that she's at least clothed. -Do you want to go clubbing on Saturday night?- Lisa isn't new to the whole clubbing thing but to go with Kai is another issue. Wouldn't the situation be awkward? Like is she supposed to dance with him or go dancing alone or what??  So she replied: -???- -Opening table, can bring a person along- Thinking that they will be there just for drinks and she could find excuse to leave earlier, she agreed. She haven't been to club in a while anyway. On Saturday, Kai offered to pick her up. Kai was slightly taken aback by her look and he somehow felt uncomfortable. This girl is seriously an expert in making him feel disturbed. "You look different today." "Yeah different makeup and stuff. Isn't this how other people dress in the club? You guys like right?"
