Hell 2.0 ?

Kai was left there alone, totally unfazed by what had happened. It was his intention to torment her anyway. He did felt a little uncomfortable though. He haven't tried insulting a person to this extend before. He couldn't comprehend what made him said such bad remarks. He could have just been cold to her, rather than a complete jerk. Throwing this to the back of his head, he went to look around in the mall.

When Lisa reached home, she immediately reached for a tub of ice cream because ice cream is the only thing that could calm her down at that moment. She stabbed the ice cream as if the ice cream was Kai. She thought she signed up for heaven but somehow she's being transported down to hell. He's just so urgh...

That day, Lisa decided to mark the last day of their agreement so that she could count down to it. She regretted her choice every moment but she had to live with it. Life stills goes on as usual despite having a " boyfriend" now. Before the next date, no text was exchanged because both didn't bother talking to the other.

"Saturday, WWW park, 11am" a text popped up while Lisa was scrolling through instagram.

Lisa rolled her eyes a little as she was reminded of the beyond cold treatment that day. She really don't want to experience that again.

Saturday came and Lisa has to face the music again. She washed up, change and head out. She didn't bother putting in extra effort because it will not be worth it so why bother?

Lisa reached earlier so she wait for Kai to arrive. Kai was dressed in a white t shirt, blue denim jeans and a pair of white sneakers. The look was pretty effortless but it got Lisa in awe. Even in such plain clothing he still looked like an art. For that moment, Lisa forgot about how annoyed she was.

"Hello! How was your week?" Lisa greeted Kai with a smile.

"Alright, nothing much happened."

"Why are you meeting here today? Are we having a picnic?" (Really Lisa, do you have go be this excited. What happened to all the anger?)

"Eat...."
"something nice." (WOW that's an improvement from last week?@?@)

"Okay, let's go!"

They walked this cafe situated at the middle of the park. The cafe has an all white exterior and large windows that allows the sun to shine through. Pretty nice vibe.

They entered the cafe, found a seat by the window. The staff approached them with the menu. To avoid ordering before she could decide what to eat, she said " Hey, mind helping me order? I'm not very sure of what  to eat."

Kai nodded without saying anything. He signalled the waiter and placed his order. Two pulled pork burger set and truffle fries. Sounds good.

After the order was placed, the table went into silence because they got nothing talk about.  The silence is killing Lisa but she's afraid of approaching him. Yes, he's that scary that even the ever outgoing and bubbly Lisa is afraid of approaching him.

When the food arrived, they quickly ate and left. Lisa almost died due to suffocation.  They decided to take the longer route black to the car park to digest their food.

OMG ANOTHER AWKWARD MOMENT?! 

In order to save herself from asphyxiation, Lisa said
" So how did you know about this place? It's pretty nice."

"Saw it on someone's instagram."

"Oh... thanks for bringing me here! I really like the place and I forsee myself coming back here regularly."

"Alone?"

Lisa looked at him will a slightly confused face.

"Nevermind."

"Rather than me planning all of these meetings, why not you decide on the place every alternative week? Gender equality."

Lisa let out a laugh as she was surprised that he dragged gender equality into this.

"Alright, fair and square."

Soon, they reached the car park.

"Thanks for the meal, will transfer you the money later because I forget my wallet. Bye!"

"No need.  We can take turns to pay. Need me to send you to the train station?"

" It is okay, I can go back myself."

Lisa turned her back and scurried away. A ride home?! She probably will die again due to awkwardness. She heaved a sigh a relief as today wasn't as bad. Far from good but it's the best case scenario.
