Tricked.

Next morning, they ate their breakfast before they head off to tour Tokyo. Lisa didn't have much clue of where they were going as Kai did most of the planning.

They went to Nakamise, Japan's oldest shopping place. They walk along a street full of traditional Japanese goods before reaching the famous Buddhist temple, Sensoji. They took some pictures of the place and Lisa went to make a prayer for her loved ones. Kai followed suit even though he is more of a free thinker. After that, Lisa went to get some omamuri (amulets) and got one for Kai as well. But she's afraid that Kai will get the wrong idea so she kept it her bag.

Since there's many Street food at Nakamise, they bought some food and headed to Ueno park to have picnic. Ueno park is the largest park and most popular in Tokyo and Lisa could totally understand why. Moreover, it is the Sakura season and everything becomes 10 times more beautiful. Lisa felt like she was walking into a tumblr wallpaper. This park is unreal. They ate their food and had small little chit chats in between. Things seem to go well, but they haven't reached a point where they are both comfortable. There are times when Lisa felt like taking a photo but she could not bring herself to ask Kai to help her take because it's just too awkward.

After the picnic, they headed back to Ginza to watch a play in Kabukiza. The play is pretty long so by the time they were done with the play, it's already dinner time. They went to eat their dinner and concluded their day. Day 1 was pretty chill as both of them were stilled tired from the flight.

When they reached their doors, Kai suddenly said

"Oh shit, I forgot my room card!"

"Are you sure you didn't leave it the car?"

"No... I don't remember seeing it..."

"Then how? Go down to the lobby?"

"It's okay, I left the door inside open. I can go in from your room."

"Oh, alright. Just enter via my room then." Lisa said without giving much thought.

She didn't realise that him leaving the door inside open is suspicious. It didn't struck her until Kai told her to leave the door open. Maybe he didn't forget his card. Maybe it was his plan to let her open the door. The linked room was PLANNED.
